Swinger International was established in Verona in the beginning of the 70’s. Their initial, small artisan production of jeanswear gradually takes on an identity that is more and more sophisticated and confident up to the creation of “denim fashion”, a style that rockets the Swinger label to fame. In just a few years, the company continues to grow globally becoming increasingly well-known in its sector: Swinger International constantly expands and diversifies its own production of men’s and women’s wear, enhancing and consolidating an important industrial know-how that, together with research and innovation on product, will be the basis of its success.
Starting from the late 80’s and subsequently in the 90’s Swinger International signed an important license agreements with worldwide famous brand like Missoni, Fendi, Ungaro, Vivienne Westwood, Roccobarocco, which help to set up the company as one of the most dynamic and professional for worldwide management of licenses in prêt-à-porter and young fashion industry. In 2002 acquired the well-known young prêt-à-porter brand Byblos and in 2009 he signed an important licensing agreement with Versace Maison for the brands Versus and Versace Jeans. Finally, in 2011, the famous brand, Genny, became part of the Swinger Group Portfolio. In October 2014 begins the licensing collaboration with Maison Cavalli for the collection Cavalli Class.

MISSION

Swinger International’s mission is the production of high quality clothing, targeted to a young market, that combines ready-to-wear and sportswear featured in a balanced and elegant way. Its strong points are experience, innovation capability, adaptability to changes in taste and technology and meticulous attention to artisan and creative detail. The ever-increasing range of brands that are part of the group is testimony to Swinger International’s tenacious progress over the years. Licenses’ management is done through preserving and emphasizing brand identity, increasing the value through a wide and correct distribution in line with the strategy of market positioning of the Brand.

HEADQUARTER

In 2001 Swinger International inaugurates its new headquarter in Bussolengo, near Verona. The new offices are a perfect synthesis of design, technology and functionality. The enormous building is visually impressive with its mirrored windows, curved lines and unmistakable Marc Quinn sculpture. Visitors are further amazed as they step inside the building to find an imposing metal structure, a huge transparent elevator, indoor swimming pools, and works of art on display that make these headquarters ideal for receiving partners, buyers, celebrity and the press. A wide space is dedicated to the research and creativity offices that have always been fundamental to the workings of the company, and also to the readyto- wear production that is carried out internally. The headquarters in Verona also host the principle showroom which together with another three in Milan are used for presentations and marketing. Our headquarter is set on a total surface of 30.000 sqm., of which is 21.000 covered by the main building, with a great managing capability of around 3.000.000 pieces.

BRANDS

Born in 1961, Genny is a ready-to-wear brand, synonymous of sophisticated elegance. Thanks to high profile designers such as Gianni Versace, Rebecca Moses and Donatella Girombelli. In 1984 Genny had the honor of representing Italian Fashion World at the White House during a show dedicated to the Grace Kelly Foundation. In 2011 Facchini group acquired the Brand from Prada and now-a-days it is managed by Swinger International, Genny returned to be a reference brand for the international jet-set, directed by Sara Cavazza Facchini 2009 Swinger signed a License agreement with Maison Gianni Versace from Versace Jeans brand production and distribution. Collections are made up of both of apparel and accessories like bags and shoes. Versace Jeans is the Versace line which is targeted at a younger clientele that will not forsake style: the creative DNA and strategic global marketing of the company are maintained. Its international spirit conquers a young market which has won over with an engaging and innovative total look that includes clothing, accessories and footwear. Collaboration with the Roberto Cavalli fashion house started in 2014, for the production and sale under licence of the Cavalli Class line. The licence includes the lines for women, men and accessories. The Cavalli Class collections are characterized by a far-reaching aesthetic research which evolves casual wear towards a concept of elegance and relaxation. It is a new style made up of shapes that do not constrain the body and of balanced proportions that make the figure harmonious and design it with naturalness. Aware and self-confident real women and men who are looking for full cohesion to their time and the needs of actual life in a sophisticated style.
